Absolutely ridiculous. Could not place an order due to your stupid website not letting me type in the entire address! People live in long named places. Fix it or you'll lose a LOT of business

No one is ever available on the Live Chat function, I have never gotten a rep on the phone before spending over 2 hours on hold, and its taken WEEKS to email me back-this is BEFORE Covid-19 delays. Shame on me for giving them another chance.

Dont get me wrong, I love Tarte products, but their customer services has to be the worst. In fact, every single time I choose to use one of their offers, say 65% off, the payment never goes through when there are funds. But funnily enough as soon as the offer expires the payment goes through so I always end up paying full price. When I write to customer services it takes so long for anyone to get back to me that the offer has expired, and then they offer me a measely 15% off, which also doesnt work and you still end up paying full price. There is nothing wrong with the products but everything wrong with the staff. No one ever owns a problem, they just vaguely read your email and fling a discount that doesnt work at you. Now, a sceptic would say that this is fraudulent and also misrepresentation in their advertising, since it happens every single time without fail. It's only happened in the last 6 months before that no issues, so someone is trying to be clever and its going to lose Tarte a lot of business, as I am going to make sure until they address this, that every shopper is aware of this very low level of service. Never once has there been an apology, it's always not their fault but yours. Ive had my laptop checked, I've talked to the bank and it certainly isnt from my side. And the emails prove their customer service doesnt care one bit about their customer, only how it appears. Now I have had to resort to posting updates on their lack of service which Id really rather not have to do. Just because they produce the best product doesnt give them license to treat customers this way.Its about time someone in Tarte stopped this and actually helped and offered a solution.

They do not make their returns policy clear. You do not have any of your European consumer rights when you shop with them. It wasn’t until I accidentally double ordered products that I found out that the do not accept returns from outside the United States. This should be made clear to people ordering from non-US countries. Though it is not illegal it is deeply unfair to accept orders from outside the US but offer customers none of the rights we have as European consumers! I brought this to there attention as soon as I noticed and the order was not stopped. I believe they made no effort to try. Once the had my money, they didn’t care! The unwanted orders take a very long time to arrive. The whole experience is terrible and the pigment in the eye shadows are not the quality I would expect

First time customer , ordered online and checked delivery times to UK due to all the posts on here. It did state 10-15 days on the web and it took exactly 3 wks (15 working days). Not bad at all with covid. And you don't pay anyway if your order is more than £40.00. My order was packaged beautifully and I feel I got real value for Money, around £85 worth of products for £42. Lots to try. I will definately buy again, you just need to plan for delivery. FYI the delivery box is reversible with a lovely palm print, ideal for a gift or posting on. X

Received items but completely the wrong colour match even after following their guidance, product that arrived is about 10x lighter than picture, tried to return but they won’t accept as I’m outside of US offered me 15% off next purchase but I do not trust purchasing from them again


I purchased online some products because I’ve seen very good reviews and tutorials and so on. Today I received an email stating that the items were delivered. Guess what? I didn’t receive any. Contacted straight away CS and they told me that the order is lost in transit. Why would you send an email stating that is out for delivery in the first place ? And then that it has been delivered?Apparently I will receive a full refund in 2 weeks. I will update my review once I received the refund back.... even so I highly doubt it... Bare in mind I ordered the products on 3rd of Feb, waited until now.. for nothing. (UK) The minute I made the order online, the money was taken immediately.... Extremely disappointed! Do yourself a favour and don’t order from Tarte!Review update: I did receive my refund back quicker than I thought... I will increase one star because of it.

Wanted to leave a good review in a sea of ones that worried me personally. I placed my first Tarte order on the 22nd January, and it arrived today, just after less than two weeks (UK). My expectations were low after seeing the negative reviews on trustpilot; however, I was getting constant email updates of the status of my parcel, and none of the makeup I ordered (eyeshadow palettes, blush, etc) arrived damaged in the slightest!

I have bought this product several times, just because there are not many other options for NON waterproof liquid eyeliners. Every time I buy it, it's great for about a week and I am happy. Then, inevitably, the ink starts coming out in huge globs and runs into my eye, painfully and uncomfortably smearing my makeup and making me rinse my eyes and reapply everything. I have been applying liquid eyeliner for years, and have achieved pretty nice, thin winged lines with other brands of liner. However, when they are sold out or only available in waterproof, I opt for the maneater and hate myself for doing so every time. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this overpriced messy product.

I've been using make up from this company for almost 8 years now. It is by far the best cosmetic line I have ever used. I am a professional make up artist and I use this for almost all of my jobs. I perform so well in last so very long. They have great prices awesome customer service and they do a ton of wonderful sales all throughout the year

I’m in the UK and ordered a corrector. I then read the reviews on this forum and was concerned as whether or not I would ever see it. However it arrived 10 days later which I thought was very reasonable given that it has to clear customs etc and in the current climate. The communication and updates were spot on. No issues for me on this purchase and would definitely shop with Tarte again.

Excellent! I ordered on the 1st of december and it arrived by the 11th of december, all the way from new york to england within 10 days. Friendly customer service and fab products.
